Miles Electric Vehicles is One of Two Auto Manufacturers Invited to Participate in the GreenXchange Global Marketplace Conference

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 13, 2007 -- With growing demand for an efficient and available alternative fuel vehicle, commissioners of the GreenXchange Global Marketplace Conference, held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza December 10-11 in Los Angeles, turned to Miles Electric Vehicles as the company to deliver on this promise.

Only three vehicles were featured outside conference doors: the Miles ZX40S Advanced Design car, the Miles ZX40ST work truck and the BMW Hydrogen 7. The Miles models were the only vehicles available to test drive at the conference. Enos also noted that the Miles models are not concept cars but full production vehicles that are currently for sale in the U.S. market.

The GreenXchange Global Marketplace Conference aims to facilitate and accelerate the diffusion of sustainable, green technology on a global scale. The conference will focus on six main topic areas: non-renewable energy; renewable energy; air, water and waste; clean tech, IT, transport and infrastructure; capitalizing green tech; and climate change policy. Featured speakers include Mayor of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, and Governor of New Mexico, Bill Richardson, as well as representatives from numerous other organizations including Google, Environmental Defense, G24 Innovations and the California Public Utilities Commission.
