QSI Corporation, Mobile Data Terminal Manufacturer, Announces New Vehicle Terminal TREQ-L
Salt Lake City, Utah (PRWEB) November 30, 2007 -- QSI Corporation has released the TREQ-L mobile data terminal (MDT), a sister product to the rugged TREQ®. The TREQ® line of terminals are in-cab devices that system integrators use for fleet management, dispatching, messaging, reporting, mapping and navigation. The TREQ-L is now shipping and is designed with the same ruggedness of the TREQ®, yet with modified features meeting the needs of budget-minded vehicle customers.
"The TREQ® products were developed because we listened to our vehicle customers' feedback who wanted a unit that provided optimal user functionality, while occupying minimal space in the vehicle cab," said Tyler Phillips, QSI Corporation's vehicle products manager. "With nearly 4,000 TREQ® and TREQ-L units shipped since the TREQ®'s release, the TREQ-L is a welcomed addition to the TREQ line of industry standard mobile data terminals."
The TREQ®s use of Windows® CE 5.0 OS provides broad support for software and hardware suppliers. The TREQ-L features a bright 800 x 480 double WVGA TFT graphic display with resistive touch screen, one serial port, two USB ports, and limited options and configurability. The TREQ® features one EIA-232 serial port, two USB ports and an optional Integrated GPS Receiver, GSM/GPRS Modem, 802.11g wireless ethernet and ethernet 10/100 Base-T.

This kit provides customers the hardware, connections, documentation and technical support to fully implement their software with our rugged hardware so the TREQ® is used to its fullest capacity.
