Medical Device Manufacturer, APEC, Announces ISO 13485:2003 Certification
Baldwin Park, CA (PRWeb) March 21, 2007 -- APEC, a contract manufacturer for the medical device industry, has achieved ISO 13485:2003 certification for implementation of a quality management system at their California manufacturing facility and global headquarters, located in Baldwin Park.
The certification specifies requirements for a quality management system in which organizations demonstrate the ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet both customer and regulatory requirements.

APEC manufactures a variety of components for medical device OEM's such as catheters, blood oxygenators, needle-access devices, intravenous components, safety syringes, and much more.
