Voltaix Increases Trimethylboron Capabilities
Branchburg, NJ (PRWEB) January 27, 2008 -- Voltaix, LLC, a leading manufacturer of electronic chemicals for the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries, today announced a significant increase in trimethylboron manufacturing capacity.
Trimethylboron, a stable boron source, is a key material for the production of thin film solar cells. To support the rapid growth of this emerging industry, Voltaix has increased their trimethylboron manufacturing capacity significantly utilizing their established solvent-free process. The product specifications for oxygen and other key contaminants have also been improved to insure that the product will continue to meet the performance requirements of the solar industry.
"TMB is particularly well suited for solar process deposition applications because it has a superior thermal stability relative to more conventional boron sources. We have also significantly improved the levels of contaminants in the product to insure that TMB will continue to provide superior electrical properties in next generation solar processes", said Mike Pikulin, Voltaix Senior Vice President.

Filling In The Pores To Create A "Piano Finish"
Since ultimately all woodworking projects are judged by their finish, you may want to consider adding a touch of elegance to your own project by filling the pores of the wood. Filling the pores creates a finish that is as smooth as glass. No matter what you are making, if you are serious about woodworking, you will want to learn how to fill pores to create this lovely finish. Some species of wood have more pores of larger size than others. An example would be to compare Maple, which has very few and very small pores with Oak, which has larger pores in greater quantity. While Maple may not need to have the pores filled to create a nice finish, if you want that smooth finish with Oak, pore filling is a necessity.
