Altron Inc Now ITAR Registered
(PRWeb) March 11, 2007 -- Altron announced today that it now is International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registered.
Companies receiving this certification demonstrate that they have knowledge and understanding to fully comply with the Arms Export Control Act (AECE) and international Traffic in Arms Regulations as well as having corporate procedures and controls in place to ensure compliance. Meeting ITAR Certification implies that Altron has met requirements pertaining to organization structure, documentation, corporate policy, training and procedures. Altron now has the right to manufacture and ship military products for export.

"We believe that Altron is the ideal contract manufacturing supplier to companies in markets requiring comprehensive quality and control systems. Such markets would include military, aerospace and medical."
Altron has been servicing the military sector for 33 years as a contract manufacturer, and has participated as a partner in programs that involved exporting. With this certification, Alton now expands its offering to fully include manufacturing and shipping military products that are exported, without requiring a partner. Altron has a broad manufacturing capability to service this market.
